\"CBCCOur program is overseen by the Executive Director who holds an Associate’s Degree in Human Services and a Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science with a concentration in Health Education, P-12. All of our classrooms are staffed according to the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, Daycare Regulations. Each classroom has a Lead Teacher who has a minimum of a Child Development Associate credential.

All of our UPK and EPK Programs are staffed with a New York State Certified Teacher. Creative Beginnings screens all employment candidates through the New York State Central Registry for Child Abuse and Maltreatment, and requires fingerprinting and a Criminal Background Check, as well as multiple reference checks. Creative Beginnings staff members are certified in CPR and First Aid, and several employees who are certified to administer medication.

Programs

Infants (6wks.-18mo.)

The Infant Program provides opportunities for group experiences and individual attention. The daily schedule is personalized and reflective of each child’s own personality. Language development, sensory exploration, large and small motor activities are encouraged.

Toddlers (18mo.-36mo.)

The Toddler Program focuses on helping children develop language skills and enhance their ability to express themselves. Small motor coordination activities are provided, as well as lots of space to advance large motor skills.

Preschool (3 yrs.- 5yrs.)

The Preschool Program promotes self-confidence, self-worth, independence, and respect. Through a variety of hands on literacy, math, science, and art activities children develop an appreciation and love for learning, while preparing for kindergarten.

School Age (5yrs.-12yrs.)

The School Age Program promotes kindness and compassion towards one another. Children living in the East Irondequoit School District will be bused to and from school. Homework assistance, reading opportunities, art activities, and large motor/ cooperative play games are integrated into our school age program.

Summer Camp (5yrs.-12yrs.)

The Summer Camp Program provides many fun filled learning experiences. Each week involves theme related activities including arts and crafts, science, sports and reading. We offer several local field-trips as well as many on-site presentations.

RCSD EPK/UPK 

The EPK program serves children who are three years old by December 1st. The UPK program serves children who are four years old by December 1st. The EPK and UPK programs promote self-confidence, self-worth, independence, and respect. Through a variety of hands on literacy, math, science, and art activities children will develop an appreciation and love for learning, while preparing for kindergarten.
